I am intending to spend this year whilst I am on Maternity Leave to focus on my children putting a hold on everything that preoccupies my attention. All of those activities can wait but my kids will never be this small again. I am sure most moms can relate to this sentiment.♥️
That being said, here are the latest updates of being a stay at home mom this year. Also, a good to know info, UK is offering postpartum mothers a maternity leave for as long as a year to take before going back to work. Can you believe how beneficial is this to us? When I knew about their benefits, I always dreamed of experiencing their mat leave for a year then viola, I finally got to benefit it with my second baby. It’s so much helpful to us moms for our recovery and to our babies as well, promoting a mum and baby bonding. I wish this kind of support to women will also be available back home.🙏
Here’s our Amyn latest photos. He’s growing like an exact twin of his Dad. I carried him for nine months, had to endure a very painful labor then boom everything is a copy from his Daddy. 😂Although his face looks like his dad but this little boy is a hundred percent a Mom’s boy who loves to be with me 24/7. He would literally cry the moment he senses I am away from him.👶

I love taking photos of him while spending a slow morning together at the comfort of our home during this winter season.🫶🏼

This is his fave position to sleep.I am enjoying this cuddling stage of my infant. Who can say no to a hug from a baby?👶

Milestone photos is something we always do for our kids. Our Kuya Akyn had a photo every month during his first year and now, we are doing it again to our Amyn. It is something we can look back when they grow older.☺️

He had grown so much in a month. More smiles and coooos for the second month!☺️

Our Kuya Akyn joining the photo with our Amyn.

This is what I am talking about being an exact copy of Mon.(LOL)No DNA required. Their faces are already a give away of their genes.😅

And with the title of my blog post, I am proud to share our Akyn won again the first place for two categories during the Cottingham Music Festival. Congratulations Baby Akyn! Mami and Dadi are so proud of you baby!♥️
No matter how busy we are adjusting to having a newborn in the family, we always try our best to support our first born with his love for music. As I have mentioned in my blog intro, we are taking everything slow regarding extra curricular commitments because Mon and I wanted to focus more on our kids during this period. Having a newborn is already a challenge to parents plus we also got responsibilities for our Akyn. The rest of those social activities can wait when our plate isn’t that full anymore.😀

Thank you Miss Mila for teaching Akyn and pushing him to be the best version of himself with his love for music.

Another perks of staying at home now is having more time to browse online and check out stuff I think I needed at home. Ebay is my fave shopping app at this moment. (LOL)😅
These are my new condiments container for easy access when I am cooking. I have been on a hunt for these babies and I finally found the one that I love. Aesthetically pleasing-check, affordable-BIG check.😂

For now, I use them for my salt, ground black pepper and paprika.🫶🏼

I am also very much inclined to try out new recipes to learn. This is my first attempt of Leche flan making. I am so happy that I can just create one if I crave for this sweet dessert again.🍰

That’s my Salad master cookware in use for all my cooking enthusiasm era.😃

Once in a blue moon outfit check going shopping with my first born during Valentine’s Day. I was given a budget by Mon to splurge for shopping as my gift for Valentines and I ended up spending most of it for my two boys. I only got my fave shoes then the rest was spent for Akyn and Amyn. Most mom’s weakness is to spend loads for their kids shall I say!🥹

Here’s my shopping buddy. I can’t wait to spend another fun day with you Baby Akyn. Mami loves you forever.♥️♥️♥️
