Day 2 Scotland-Glasgow Botanic Gardens

Second day of the trip started with early morning breakfast included in our hotel accomodation then a warm shower ready for a long day of exploring Glasgow.😍

Prior to traveling, we searched for places we can visit both in Glasgow and Edinburgh then printed them as a guide for our trip to Scotland. It’s another DIY trip achieved,a much more cheaper method than purchasing a package. In choosing our destinations, we made it sure we considered our Akyn’s choice. He’s so obsessed with plants, so the first on the list to visit was a botanic garden. Searched for the nearest parking area first and had to walk like a good 5 minutes to reach the gardens. A massive garden greeted us with all the exotic plants all over the world and the best thing was, the entrance was free of charge.

We arrived early about nine in the morning. The glass houses will open at ten still. Roamed around the garden instead whilst waiting for the glasshouses to open. Loads of plants and comfy benches to sit at the same time enjoying the cool breeze of nature. It was so relaxing pretty Mommas. How nice is it to sit in one of those benches with a hot coffee in your hand?😍

Here are photo ops during the trip. Please ignore the bin behind me.(LOL)

The most colorful bench I have ever seen.❤️

These two with their creative poses under a gazebo.❤️

I am five months pregnant as they say it is the honeymoon stage. The safest stage to travel. That’s why we are making the most of it to enjoy family time while I still can. By the third trimester, it would be difficult for me to go for a long travel because of my bigger tummy.😍

Monkey Puzzle tree. Amazingly, Akyn knows a lot of plants more than we do. He’s been doing searches in Google about plants of different kinds. Thanks to my boy our garden is looking more pretty because of his love for plants. Every time we go out, his main request is to buy a new plant for our backyard.😍Our little plantito!

A smaller Monkey Puzzle Tree.Photos requested by this little plantito for his remembrance of all his plant photos.😍

and the bigger one, of course

The herb garden section with my two models.😁

Finally at exactly ten in the morning, the glasshouses opened!

It was huge with all the different classes of plants well maintained and watered.

I never knew about a carnivore plant. When Akyn saw this part, he kept on saying,”Mami, Fly trapper plants! Reading the little caption beside the plant, it indeed showed it was a Fly trapper plant.👌How did he know about it?

Succulents section.

It was a bit warm inside the glasshouse because they had to maintain the temperature conducive for the tropical plants to grow.

Another glasshouse inside the botanical garden.

Everything in this Botanical Garden is well maintained. If my garden is as big as this,I will seldom go out of the house and rather enjoy the beauty of nature.

Spent two hours enjoying the grenery then searched for a place to eat. Never knew Jollibee is also in Glassgow. Thanks to Google, we again had the chance to enjoy our most fave local fastfood restaurant back home.

Another lovely trip for our growing family. Thank you dear Lord.😍
