Non stop rain for the past two days here in Hull. I am really missing summer now.😒I am a summer baby lover. So here I am finishing my next blog post of our Cornwall trip whilst fully covered with my cozy blanket at home.
Anyway, back to our main subject for this morning, we made it sure to book an activity in our everyday stay in Cornwall. Of course, it seldom happens when we visit the place, we needed to make the most of it. Booked it online two days in advance for everyone in the group to be able to get a slot in going to St Michael’s Mount. We chose the timeslot during the low tide in going there so we can still be able to walk with our bare feet on our way to the place. There was an option to ride a boat if you didn’t want to get your feet wet. Opted for the former. It was an incredible experience to get damp feet as the tide slowly reveals the causeway. The water was super cold but the experience was totally worth it.❤️
Photo taken upon arriving. Had to sort out our parking first then went straight to our destination.
That’s the Castle where we were heading to located in the middle of the sea.Incredible!
Bought our slippers with us but you can definitely walk with your bare feet because the path isn’t rough or stony.
Each of us took a family photo to capture the magnificent moment.❤️
Had to wait for some of our friends to arrive for us to go together towards the castle. I already secured buying a fridge magnet at this moment while waiting.
Thank you to Win2x for taking our “Kilig shot.”
Shops were available around the area. I love Cornwall Ice cream. Akyn’s fave is the Strawberry flavour.
I shared with Mon and we chose the Honeycomb flavour. I am limiting my sweets so I had to share it with Mon or else I wouldn’t be able to finish the entire icecream.
It was a couple of steps in going up the castle. The weather was nice, sunny and a bit of chilly to warm up our sweats. It was a nice walk exercise for this pregnant Momma. Add the beautiful view along the way making it a more perfect day.
Few more shots before heading inside the castle.
They gave us like a route sticker sheet to accomplish to get to know more about the castle and its history.
My Akyn finding his photoshoot spot.
Tantadaaaan the owner of the place is here.(LOL)🤣🤣😂
Akyn took this photo when we were waiting for our friends to finish their tour . A seagull waiting for its next food target.
That’s my Akyn finishing the sticker activity of finding each corner inside. We had to keep it as a remembrance.
In the afternoon, we visited St. Ives Cornwall.I had to experience the sea no matter how cold the water was.I did swim with our Akyn. Played with the waves and shared non stop laughter during this trip. We are so thankful to have experience this. Thank you Lord for another lovely getaway.
