Do It Assemble

It’s been a while since I last posted anything for Akynfullhouse. Non stop agency nursing in the making my friends. Agency nurses here are paid almost three times than the regular salary of a permanent staff. So, during my rest days especially during weekdays when my Akyn is at school and Mon is at work, I’d rather choose to work as well than staying at home doing nothing. We can shop bond together during weekends anyway. It’s what they say as work hard but play harder after.

What’s the content for today pretties? I’ll start with my random thought on this cold morning. One thing I have learned from living away from home is learning to be grateful in every bit of a blessing we’ll get along the way. The more we become more appreciative, the more thy Heaven sees our never ending thank you’s and shall continue to pour more unexpected surprises unto us. Wouldn’t you agree?

A couple of weeks ago, we planned to assemble our do it your own personal computer for Mon’s work. He’s a software developer by the way for my readers who don’t personally know my husband. Seeing him using his laptop for coding with a tiny screen not enough to display all the screens he needed made me wonder how resilient he is in making the most of what he got instead of demanding me to buy a wider monitor for his work. Yes, he’s exactly the opposite of me when it comes to the urge of buying. I shop a lot while he never does. Not unless it’s me who says you need this. LOL. Is that a typical thing for us ladies?

So, this time I’ve made the first move to ask him in creating our own computer at home which is way cheaper compared to buying a readily assembled one in store. We can opt to choose a bigger memory capacity at a lower price. How’s that?

The making process. Sorry it’s a bit messy.

and our cutest contributor to our PC making activity.

and the final output. We bought all the parts from AMAZON. Mon only assembled all the specs he wanted from different suppliers then viola our UK family PC was born. One of the perks of having a techy hubby. (wink)

I’ve included a few bits and bobs to his working desk adding a little girly side of me. My Blog’s tagline should be part of the picture.

Another blessing for us as a starting family living abroad. Beginning everything from number one until we can get our feet back together to our second home.

Good morning fellas.
