Filey Beach

I took a quick rest after sorting out all our travel stuff and putting them back to where they needed to be at home. Yes, we’ve just arrived from our summer holiday and I can’t wait for tomorrow to start blogging about it. So, I started my part one of the travel blog now. We’ve promised Akyn a holiday prize after he won his piano competition in Hornsea last July. We shouldn’t break a promise to our child especially if it’s a gift for something he worked hard to earn it. He requested to visit London again for the nth time but we’ve just been there last June. He liked London that much not minding how busy the city is. We suggested if we could try somewhere we don’t need to rush everyday and that’s to rent a caravan in Filey. I’m glad he agreed to it. It was a last minute booking as we were still contemplating if we were pushing through or not with this trip. It wasn’t as cheap as I would hoped to. However, the experience was totally worth it. We booked Haven Primrose Valley Holiday Park online, days before our actual check in date. Just so thankful slots were still available although we were very near to our target dates. It must be a holiday gift from ABOVE.

A family selfie before hitting the beach.

One thing I liked about Primrose Valley is the free access to Filey beach. A little walk from the resort and viola, our feet was already soaking with the seawater. Went to the beach on our second day as planned. We planned for our itinerary in our trip like the way I wanted it to be. I always want to have a timeline when traveling making sure we were able to do what most tourists needed to visit/do on a place new to us.

That’s me showing my summery yellow dress.

Akyn was already busy getting seawater for his sand castle allowing Mon and I to do our selfie. LOL😂

A photo before swimming.

My little Akyn all ready to swim.

Witwew. I really thought that the water would be warm enough with the sunny weather all day long but don’t get fooled because the water was quite cold when we started to enjoy the sea. Akyn and I loved to greet the little waves coming every now and then.

Playtime 😂😂😂

I asked my Akyn how he felt about our holiday. He said he loved it so much although Wifi access was limited in our accomodation and he didn’t had the chance to play online games at all during the trip. Well, that’s what we wanted to have more family time with less online screen time for all of us.

Stay tuned for more of our Filey getaway. Get tanned and more smiles this summer pretty Mommas

  8. That looks really fun. It’s nice you enjoyed the beach. Seeing Akyn buried in sand brought me some fun childhood memories as my siblings used to do that a lot. Looking forward to more of your posts regarding your Filey getaway.
