It has been a lovely sunny day last weekends. Aren’t you all excited for Spring? Well, I can’t wait for Winter to come to an end. I had enough of the chilly weather. I enjoyed the snow so much, though .😅How are you all been doing?
Our last week’s experience has been absolutely a new thing for us and very much worth to remember. What was it? We got featured in ABS CBN’s TeleRadyo Feb ibig edition program with the hashtag Father, I do. ❤️
Who would have thought we will be able to do this ever? Thanks to my most viewed blog post entitled Marrying an Ex seminarian posted last February of 2017. When I first wrote this story it amazingly hit ten thousand views and until now it’s still my number one most visited post in our blog with almost 20k views plus it paved the way for us to experience a live interview about our lovestory.😊Thank you God.
When an ABS CBN staff contacted us to do an interview, I initially refused not because I’m playing hard to get but simply because I’m a bit terrified and shy at the same time. I made an excuse regarding the time difference which would mean we will be doing this interview at one in the morning UK time as their airing starts at nine AM in the Philippines. That was just to cover my anxiousness to be on TV. The staff was so polite asking for the second time if we could grant their request. Who am I to keep on pushing them away? I said to myself,”I might be able to inspire people with our story by saying yes.” So, yeah we did it with a happy heart.

Miss Winnie Cordero as the host of the show was so accommodating during the interview process. She smoothly directed the conversation making it feel like a natural chitchat between friends sharing their sentiments. I appreciated the balance between her professionalism and her warmth in talking to her guests. We must be very lucky to be part of her morning show. Nice meeting you Miss Winnie.
This kind of exposure has definitely made me realized that believing in our own God given gift will eventually lead us to some exciting path beyond what we can imagine. When I started this blog I won’t deny the hardships of building it from thinking about what to write to finding the right pitch to attract readers. However, those struggles never stopped me from continuing to enhance my passion. I became the first person to praise my work, the first cheerleader to push myself in creating many stories for my readers and the top fan of celebrating every happy memories with our website.
After four years of continuously writing pieces of my unspoken opinion, I’m slowly seeing the fruits of my labor. Nothing is impossible really if you believe and make your passion into reality.
I’ll end this post with this beautiful reminder, “Whatever line of creativity you are blessed with, success will always be at the tip of your fingers once the determination to prosper begins.
