Where To Stay In Baguio (The Blue Room)

One of the booming businesses in Baguio City is converting their residential houses into transient accommodations for travelers. We booked a room through Airbnb website where it offers a lot of choices depending on your budget. If you’re traveling as a family, hotels are also available for a convenient stay. For those backpackers like us, if you would like to save, you can opt to rent for a transient room instead.

Welcome to our room for two days. The blue room is located in City Camp Central near the Heath Center.

Mon had a funny or shall I say self inflicted horror story with this mirror placed at the bottom part of our bed. He was seriously texting at around past ten PM. He saw someone’s feet in front of him and to his terror, it took him seconds before he got the courage to see the face of the owner of those feet. He was relieved seeing his face and realizing he was facing a mirror in front of him. lolz☺Lesson learned: minimize watching horror films.

We were only expecting to have a room but the blue room actually got a mini kitchen  that would allow you to cook with dinning utensils available. Amazing!

For your food delicacy, a mini fridge is free for the guests to use. This will help you preserve those food that you would like to bring home.

One of the important considerations that I do always consider before renting a place is to have a private toilet. The blue room includes a private toilet for travelers. It has a water regulator too for hot and cold.

Please expect that most transient rooms in Baguio doesn’t include an AC or an electric fan. It’s not going to be needed anyway with the kind of climate in the city. We were satisfied with our overall stay in this room and the host was very accommodating as well.
