York Shopping

We’ve been checking the weather for the past couple of days because we were hesitant to continue with the trip if it’s going to be raining all day. At eight in the morning, I thought that all plans would be cancelled due to the weather forecast of a rainy afternoon in York. However, Michio called me about the change of plans of pushing through the travel escapade. A calm morning turned into an adrenaline causing preparation to get the earliest scheduled train. Can you imagine a mum rushing to get everything packed? Yes, I know it was insanely challenging. 🤣

We started the trip with a brunch in London Cafe situated in Hull Paragon train station as we were forty minutes early to the next train. This is my boys first English breakfast. No rice which is not we normally have at home . 😜

Train tickets were booked via online. Hassle free, isn’t it? This is the whole gang. We were still able to abide with the limit of a group of six people with the new Covid 19 policy in England.

For this post, I’ll share to you my shopping haul. I’ll post a different one for our photos during the trip. You know my fascination to shopping if you’ve been a regular reader of my blog. 😜

I was hoping to visit the designer’s outlet in York however, due to time constraints we’ve only managed to shop to their main city centre and strolled around their beautiful spots nearby. Maybe next time it’ll be our next target place to visit.

Akyn first hopped into their Disney store. A pose of thinking what to shop. LOL. 😁

Akyn’s chosen Disney toy is this Simba stuff toy which he gave him a different name as Yorkie.😜

The trip won’t be complete without me buying a fridge magnet with York logo. It’s part of my habit to buy a magnet every travel. Kind of my collection since we were in Cebu. I’ll send the other magnet to my sister in Cebu.

This colored pen came in with a cute tin case is for my Akyn. He likes coloring and drawing cute little stuff at home.

Hi to York’s known chocolate story. We only dropped to get some sweets. Next time we’ll take a peek and book to get more views on their museum upstairs.

Love this💖

Their TK maxx isn’t that big compared to Hull but still found some gems from the shop. Badly needed a coin purse/card holder for my everyday use. Exactly what I wanted. 👛

This two toned scarf has a very nice texture and thick enough to provide warmth. Love it because of its neutral color making it easy to find an outfit to match it with.

Walking on a cold Autumn afternoon isn’t that chilly with a taste of this hot chocolate drink with marshmallow toppings. Bought it for only three pounds.

Lief, husband of Michio introduced Mon to one of the locals selling one of the spicy sauce in the city. It was really too spicy. One drop is too much for me to handle. Mon loves it. (eyes rolled)

H&M was our last shopping stop before heading for our dinner.

Bought Mon two kinds of jumper perfect for this cold season. Hi to my impromptu models at home.

Been looking for an oversized hoodie. Like to wear this if I’m lazy to plan for my OOTD. We can pair it with a comfy joggers or leggings plus a hippie beanie. That’s going to be simply fab.

And my obsession to cute little stuff continues. I still don’t know what I’m going to use them with either as a bag charm or a coin purse. One thing for sure, I’ll keep them. Bought two for me and my sister.

Faux snake skin bag is definitely a catch. I initially wanted to keep it for myself but my sister asked if she could have it. So this treasure is going to be shipped to Cebu pretty soon.

Another trip for the year 2020. Thank you Lord for this gift of happiness.
