When I look at my two boys, they both look so little and innocent, however, their genuine love for us serves as the pillar of our strength to strive hard so we can give them a comfortable life. They might still be too young though surprisingly, they can show their willingness to help us in their own little ways is beyond anything great I can imagine. As little as they are but I can see how they are growing as our little confidants for a lifetime. They gave me the gift of a beautiful motherhood.
Mon and I gained our two little best friends in this world, our boys.
We spent our term break/ Mother’s Day celebration by going out of town. Went to Leeds to process an important appointment. Then we had Jollibee for our lunch. This is Amyn’s first long travel away from Hull. It was a challenge pretty Mommas bringing an infant to travel. He cried every start of the journey because he doesn’t like his carseat at all. He prefers to be carried ALL the time but obviously we can’t do that so we got to endure his non stop whining. He settled in the middle of the travel and slept the whole time until we arrived to our destination. ❤️

Our Akyn enjoying his chickenjoy. Jollibee might be a pretty common fastfood restaurant way back home but here, it is something special because there are only few locations here in the UK to enjoy our most fave restaurant.

Mon with his Jolly Spaghetti and two pieces of chickenjoy. This is one of the best family lunch. Felt like we were back home to our loved country, the Philippines.

After Leeds, we drove straight to York to buy my Mother’s day present. 🎁 I told Mon how thankful we are now that we can afford to spend an extra amount to buy the gifts we wanted for ourselves. Unlike before, we had to prioritise our bills to pay as a starting family.
Reminiscing back when we were newly wed, we were like kids playing a pretend house from a home acquired with nothing on it to slowly buying the pieces of furniture we needed. It was a tough life in the beginning standing on our own without anyone’s help but all worth it in the end.

York Designer Outlet has a play area for kids. We let Akyn play on a sunny aftie.

Mon and Amyn patiently waiting for our Kuya.

Using a pram is our best choice to comfortably carry Amyn wherever we go.

It has a free coin purse and a free earbuds little pouch, too.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mommas out there. Never forget to appreciate ourselves and give a tap on our back for all the sacrifices we do to our families. Virtual hugs pretty Mommas.
