Hull Fair

One of the best places to visit when you wanted to relieve stress is to pay round to see a theme park. It’s suitable for both kids and to us who are still a child at heart. ๐Ÿ˜„

It’s my first time to experience what the locals call as Hull Fair. A yearly tradition of a travelling funfair coming to Kingston upon Hull with lots of rides, games, food and souvenirs to enjoy. God thank you! I surely had a good time visiting it for about three times in its one week of stay here together with different set of friends. Isn’t it obvious how much I love to have fun? ๐Ÿ˜†

A sweet and mouth watering smell of different kinds of food will welcome you upon entering the fair.

Loads of sweets displayed for sale but you know what I crave the most to eat? It’s their doughnuts with Belgian chocolate toppings. I’m aching to taste it again with just the thought of it. Gosh!

An interesting discovery I had when I learned a cotton candy in the Philippines is called candy floss here in the ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง UK.

There were tons of food stalls with enticing cheap prices. Haven’t had supper during my second visit which would mean I got enough space for my tummy to accomodate for the night. Yay! Found this one costing a burger for a pound and a fifty pence. Not bad, ey?

Apart from food, I’m more than delighted to play their games. Been wanting to win a big Teddy but my lucky day didn’t pay me a visit when I needed it. Maybe next year I could, hopefully. Huhuhu ๐Ÿ˜ซ

Akyn would love these toys.

During my third visit on its last day of the fair, most of their toys’ prices were marked down. I should have bought that rag doll right when I saw it and now I’m regretting. Went to visit a friend’s house that night and promised to come back to buy it but totally forgot about it on my way home. It’s kind of weird type of collection, isn’t it? I’m planning to bring one of my babies when I’ll return home to Cebu and bring it here. Meet my most loved among the group,Chimita. Named her after my nickname Chim.

Isn’t she pretty? That’s my place I call home in Cebu. Welcome to my house. ๐Ÿ˜˜

Many are excited for the rides except me. LOL๐Ÿ˜‚ I can dare to ride those not so terrifying ones like Ferris wheel or bumper cars and that’s it.

I will never ever try those killer rides. I promised to myself. Tried it before with my husband during our honeymoon in HK where the ride was really deadly. Situated near a rocky cliff which means if anything goes wrong with the roller coaster ride and you’ll accidently get thrown out from your seat, you’ll only have two options. Either you’ll be dead or you’ll be dead. Choose! So I said to myself, I will never seek death again.

Glad to have some friends as our instant photographer. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Looking forward for next year’s fair again. The shortcut definition of happiness is when you know how to have fun.
