I’ve read from one of my favorite mommy blogger, Mommy Fleur, about her mother and daughter five questions session where she did get the raw sweet answers from her daughter about the things she like. I tried few of the questions with my five year old boy but not the whole lot as he gets bored with too many questions thrown at him in one instance. I don’t want to hear his favorite tag line,”Why are you asking me loads of questions Mommie?”
Here are some of his answers:
What are the five things you love about Mommie? I love Mommie because….
- She hugs me always.
- She gives me lots of kisses.
- She goes with me to school.
- She always say I love you.
- I love Mommie because I just love her. ( The best answer)
What are the three things Mommie likes?
- Mommie likes thrift shopping and I like to go with you, too.(LOL)
- Mommie likes decorating the house.
- Mommie likes it when her decorating project is done.
What are the two things Mommie hates?
- Mommie hates monsters because she easily gets scared for little things and screams. (hahaha)
- Mommie hates DUTY.( He hears me grumbling everytime I am on my way to work.)
Mon complimented our Akyn on how well he knows me.
Kids are very observant more than we realized and spending more time with them would allow us to strengthen the family bond we’re trying to build. That has been said, we spent the whole week together during his school break. Mon and I both filed for a week vacation leave from work so we can have sometime off. Our first itinerary for the Halloween season was to experience pumpkin picking in Sandy Bottom Pumpkins with our Filipino friends Kuya Marcelo and Ate Susan with kids. I’ve met as well Ate Percy with her family for the first time. It was a lovely time to let our Akyn mingle with other kids as well.
This is the whole gang. Insert Ate Susan who took the photo for us.
The entrance fee was only for a pound each. The rest of the fees will depend on how much pumpkin you’ll decide to bring home with you. Isn’t that an affordable offer for a family outing?
We paid like around 37GBP for this whole bag of fresh pumpkins. Both my boys love pumkin dishes and these are cheaper compared to buying them in retail stores. We mostly took the green ones as Ate Susan said they’re tastier especially if we add some coconut milk on them. Tried and tested to be truly delish.
Showing you few of our beautiful photos taken.
My five year old boy is almost four feet tall. Bet he’s going to be taller than me when he reaches his teens.🤣
Near the pumpkin field was also a sweetcorn plantation. We bought at least three peices, one for each of us. I would still prefer our very own sweetcorns at home.😂 Feels like home on these shots taken.
They got food stalls to grab some snacks, too. A red mobile pizza with Mon as the model.(LOL)
It was cold but defintely a nice experience to do for a family trip. Hoping to come here next year again.
And before the Halloween ends we attended a party organized by one of our friends, Ate Aimee. Thank you for inviting us. Akyn had an amazing night playing with the kids whilst on his Superman costume.
I can’t be bothered with any costume so I chose Morticia Addams with her straight black hair plus the scary photobomber next to me.
Hope you had a spooky nice Halloween, too because we had a blast last week.
Going to the pumpkin patch is a yearly tradition for my family. I love doing all the fun fall activities with my kids!!
So much fun to do. ❤️
You have a smart child. I love how open he answers and tells you his observation. On the other hand, pumpkin patch and corn maze are to-go places every Halloween or Fall. For me, Philippine corns are the best still.
I certainly agree. ❤️
Awe, this is so sweet! It looks like you had a fabulous time pumpkin picking and had a great Halloween! I love all of the pictures.
Thank you. ❤️❤️❤️
It looks like you guys had a blast at the pumpkin patch!
Loving fall activities, especially the pumpkin patch. You all look like you had a wonderful time! 😊🏨👜👓🍕
