Once in a while it’s best to take a break from the usual routine of being part of the working class. Who wouldn’t want to switch off their work mode button? It has been planned weeks ago about our beach/swimming pool outing to unwind a bit and escape the busy city life for a day.
Our first choice was a resort in the northern part of Cebu. Unfortunately, it was fully booked for our chosen date. Must be a blessing in disguise on why weren’t accommodated. The location would take at least 2-3 hours of travel and may take more if the flow of the traffic will get worst.
My secret to avoid disappointment for every failed opportunity is to think something better is coming!

The resort searching continued and finally, we found Ibabaw Mountain Resort in Liloan Cebu. We were expecting the travel time would take an hour in going there. It roughly took us less than one hour to reach the place.
One of the epic fail experience we had was in locating the resort. Our struggles started upon reaching the Yati Liloan Street along the National Road. Our hired driver wasn’t familiar with the area. So we had to rent a tour guide (one of the Motorcycle drivers for hire). For a Php 20.00, he brought us to a very stiff path and confidently left us saying,”We reached our destination.” When we asked the locals there, we’ve reached a private subdivision.
Imagine ! Just for a Php 20.00, he’ll tricked us. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps, he may have misunderstood us when we told him about the place. Ok fine move on girl!
With the help of the heavens, we found the resort with all the mishaps.

I had a great chance to snap a photo where there weren’t any guess yet using the pool. We’re the first customer of the resort. Yey!

I forgot to bring a bath soap during the trip. Good thing, they had a mini store to save me. Lesson learned: check your things before travelling.

The overall experience was absolutely terrific with the funny games plus the sumptuous food. I felt energized to restart my system.
