While lazily lying in bed with my Mon and Akyn one late afternoon, I saw some white like cotton dropping from the sky in our window. Immediately got up excitedly telling my boys it was snowing. Mon’s response was,”Weh, are you sure?”. Lol
Who would have thought we will experience snow again since the last one it had a snowfall in here was a couple of years ago? Is the lockdown helping to heal our planet allowing to have the weather get back to its natural state? Definitely it has some help I suppose.
After seeing these grasses covered with the beautiful white snow, we hurriedly went downstairs, put on our coats and with no hesitation played in the middle of the freezing winter evening.
When you’re from a tropical country and all we got is rain having to get the live experience of playing on the icy environment will make us go excitedly crazy to do those stuff we only read in books, don’t you think? I’m super thankful I have my family here with me now to enjoy our very first snowfall happy moment. It won’t be as exciting as this one if it was only me savoring the beauty of winter. My boys are also about to spend their one year stay in the UK. Time moves so quickly!
We wouldn’t mind the coldness as long as we are all together.
My Akyn playing snowball fight with me proudly saying I missed my target. These photos were taken the following day after the first snowfall in Hull.❤️
We consider this February snow surprise as another gift to remind us that every dream is made possible as long as you believe on it and work hard for it. The next thing we know we are already living our dream.
I’ve seen snow all my life growing up in the midwest USA, lol, so personally, I would be okay with not having it. My daughter on the other hand was super excited when she first saw it last year, lol! I guess it never really caught her attention until she was 3. Hope you all stay warm!
I love this. I have grown up with snow and I want to live somewhere warm. HAHAH thank you for sharing your experience. I sometimes forget there are some who have never experienced snow.
I am happy for you that you and your family experiencing snow again for the second time around and yes, I think this lockdown help the earth to heal to go back to it’s natural look and state.
Oh, how fun! There’s nothing quite like the first time one gets to experience snow firsthand, whether you’re 2 or 20! It’s so magical, don’t you think?
This is so exciting for you guys. We live in Ohio, but my daughter was obsessed with snow this year.
How fun that you got snow! We get a lot of snow here, and it’s been too cold for the kids to even enjoy it outside. I bet the kids really loved it.
It’s definitely a wonderful first memory!
