I feel sorry to those who are currently at work today in the UK with this kind of weather, too hot, uniform too constrictive and uncomfy to wear, office buildings absorbing too much heat, what else can I say? Tomorrow is also expected to be warmer than today. I’m used to high temperatures back home so I’m a little bit fine with it but for those who aren’t, it’s quite unbearable. This too shall pass pretty Mommas. Stay hydrated!
As promised during my previous posts that I will be sharing our toilet renovation we did in our house in Cebu. I’ve been procastinating this project for quite sometime because of me finding it hard to find someone to do the job based on my satisfaction. Loads of carpenters are available but only few are skilled enough to materialized my wants. I was scrolling my social media account few months ago and I came across with a page called 2S Brothers House Renovation. Contacted them and after a week we settled into an agreement with the cost as well as the design. I super recommend them. They will quote a reasonable price depending on the kind of workload their customers wanted.
For me, I want my entire toilet be renovated. It was badly damaged after typhoon Odette. I’ll share to you the before and after photos of the renovation journey. All the succeeding photos are credited to 2S Brothers House Renovation.
Toilet bowl has been damaged as well. If you can see all the molds in between tiles, the dirt. Ugh, just so ugly to view everyday!
The water from the second floor storage room had been leaking damaging the paint in our toilet and kitchen. I’m still thankful though our roof remained intact amidst the strongest wind of the typhoon.
My Mama wanted our door to be moved facing the kitchen instead of the living room. One of the best decisions ever giving more privacy when someone uses the bathroom.
I requested to change all the tiles into white with brown stone effect tiles in the middle. The house was completely full of dust while in the process. I’m so thankful for my Mama and Papa for looking after our house and doing the hands on job to keep everything organized. I love you both. I can’t wait to see you both soon.
It’s just one phase of the wall but it did look nice already.
Tadaaan the finish output. Toilet improvement brought to the highest level of looking pretty. The circular sink looked fab on top of a hanging cupboard for my toiletries. Bought my mirror and retro hanging light online from Shopee.ph. The towel rack, tissue holder and bidet were all chosen by my contractor. I only needed to pay them for their expenses. Hassle free, isn’t it?
I requested for a wall division between my shower and toilet bowl to keep the water splashes away from my toilet bowl. I’m still waiting for my soap holder to get installed. Otherwise, I am completely impressed with the finish output. Yay, another blessing, a gift for all our hardwork!
Apart from the recent beautification of our house back home, I am delighted as well to start with my new ward to work with. I am beyond grateful for my colleagues in my previous ward for the thoughtfulness in surprising me with my farewell presents. I never thought I will be changing ward again but sometimes, all we need is a change to move forward, to grow and find peace in our everyday adventure in our professional world. And that’s what I’m doing. I never ever regretted any of my decisions each moment I choose a different path to take in the past because everytime I decided to find a new one, I think it through a million times before finally saying yes to CHANGES. I’m pretty sure this kind of change I wanted is a beautiful switch for me.
A little food preparation welcoming a new journey to take.
I will definitely miss the people I love working with but I don’t think it’s really goodbye as we will still be seeing each other on the same floor. Just see you around my pretties! Forever I’m grateful.
