I am not complaining about it for I am still thankful that I have a decent job to help me generate income for my family. For my last work commitment, I rendered 16 hours duty for one shift as required. I enjoyed my shift in performing my duties of course. What’s with the terrific work schedule then that I need to talk about on this post? I’m certain others may have more toxic job than I do. Well, it’s not about my... Read More

Gladly, Manila Foodshoppe opened their new branch in South Town Centre, Talisay City. It's a short walk to Atlantic Hardware, our target location for our home improvements trip. Blogging allows me to express myself more in writing especially those sentiments that I can't convey by way of talking to someone. It also makes me happy every time I can finish one article and share those things that may somehow touch someone's life. I am inspired when people would tell me that they continuously read every blog entry that I publish. This blog of mine is like a baby to me. I would want to nourish it by putting more... Read More

The Boomerang Effects of Helping

We were about to head home last night when Mon found an identification card left in one of those waiting benches for passengers. Our first reaction was of course to return it to its rightful owner but the question was how? The contact number listed on the back portion where the card can be reported as missing wasn't that readable. I still texted it merely by just guessing the numbers. We weren't sure if someone will respond to it or not. After a few minutes, an unknown number was calling me. I really hate answering unknown numbers thinking it maybe one of those sales calls... Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto, Baguio City

The first destination in our bucket list during our Baguio get-away was to visit the well known Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto to say thank you for the safe trip and to pray for a happy travel ahead. It is best to visit the place early in the morning when it's cooler, for it's going to take a long climb but definitely worth the effort. It's about 250 steps in going up to the statue of the Lady of Lourdes. It's a form of exercise for us to climb up and a way of a religious sacrifice as well. It would really test your endurance...
