My Birthday in Liverpool Day 1

I was contemplating on how would I celebrate my birthday few weeks ago and Mon said to me, "Celebrate it the way you wanted!" Well, that would mean another family travel is going to happen because my top likes on the list on special event is really to travel and shop with my family. I love to spend our alone time together in going to places we've never been to. It's not like we don't want our friend's company to join with us but it's more of a moment to remember as a family getaway. If you don't get what... Read More

Book Hoarder

Few weeks ago, we went to East Park Woodford Leisure Centre swimming pool to try it for the first time. I had no intentions of swimming at all because first, I got no swimming suit and second I don't know how to swim. Bummer! Thank you Ate Susan for letting me borrow a swimwear. I'm starting to browse online to get my own swimming attire to use every summer. I should have done this months ago.😂LOL That's us fresh from the pool. East Park is becoming a frequent destination for us to spend our weekends. Apart from it's a huge... Read More

Ikea UK

I am supposed to write the consecutive parts of our London trip but decided to write our Ikea in Leeds adventure instead as a part of me again is so much excited to share my weakness to shopping home decors. Who wouldn't be when Ikea has so many beatiful choices out for display? Overwhelming shopping experience for this Momma. Me and my boys taking a selfie before the journey begins. It was a lovely Sunday morning when we went there. After attending the Holy mass, the Reginos invited us if we wanted to go to Leeds. Our initial plan was... Read More

London Second Day

As much as I wanted to wait for next week to finish another blog but I can't resist the eagerness to share it to my website about how nice our vacation went to the busy, always in a rush London life. Our day usually start with a sumptuous breakfast enough to fuel us for another nonstop walking day. Yes, we really need to get a good meal for the day plus the comfiest pair of shoes if we wanted to survive a fun-filled tour. We went to the nearest Italian resturant near our hotel before going on to ride a... Read More

London Day 1

Akyn's opening of class will still be this Wednesday. More bonding time with my Bokyn at home on this rainy morning. We will do some playtime activities after finishing this post. I'm here to share our recent family trip. Writing in our Akynfullhouse website to document another unlocked happy moment for this half term break for our Akyn on a lovely spring season. A great time to go on a family holiday. We've planned for this trip since the beginning of this year and thanks God our request for a time off was granted. It was hitting two birds in... Read More

A Walk In The Park

First day of school for our boy after his two weeks off today. "Are you going to miss me Mommie? Because I won't be missing you while I'm in school?" He blurted out while having breakfasts focused on his tablet watching cartoons not even looking at me. "Why won't you miss me? I'm going to think of you a lot today waiting for you to come home! That's not fair. " Sometimes, NO, wrong word, it should be often times, we mothers are so dramatic in every little things. Don't you agree?(LOL) He then explained to me pointing to the... Read More

The Roman Baths Family Trip

It's always a busy day following the arrival from a family get away. From all the accumulated laundry to do plus the organizing of all the travel stuff used arranging them to where they needed to be put back in the house and the list continues. Is that something us pretty Mommas can relate to? I'm glad we left the house on it's immaculate state giving me less work to clean up after our holiday. We've just arrived from our UK Bath family outing. Did take advantage of Akyn's school break so the three of us can travel without worrying... Read More

Five Years Blogging

This month celebrates our fifth year anniversary for our family blog. How quick is the flipping of calendar again? I remember starting this blog a few months when Akyn was born. It initially served as my reflection to everything I encountered then it turned to be a documentation of our Akyn's experiences. And now, it eventually became part of my system to write anything about how we celebrate life as a family. Happy fifth year anniversary to my Akynfullhouse. I'm hoping for more years to keep on inspiring my readers. They are my source of inspiration to continue my love... Read More

Getting Sporty Activated

Getting back to my norm of writing a blog once a week is something I'm excited to do. Who wouldn't be glad living the beauty of serenity. A blessing to be thankful in our adulting life 101. I'm on a cloud nine while composing my post as of the moment after Mon had received a very pleasant news from his Manager. Hello 2022, you definitely started our year brighter. Please continue to be an inspiring year for us. 😘 On the other note, have you completed the list of your New Year's resolution already pretty Mommas? I haven't done mine... Read More

Six Years of Happiness

After two weeks of writing nothing, here I am ready to open up another page of me. The last couple of weeks was so difficult not just for me but also for our entire family way back home. A super typhoon drastically hit our hometown on the evening of the 16th of December causing too much damage to the properties of my fellow Kababayans situated where the eye of the typhoon Odette had passed. I am beyond grateful that my family are all fine apart from our roof blown away by the unforgiving strong wind. We still have not resumed... Read More

Our UK Forever Home

Today is literally the fourth day after we moved in to our forever home in the UK. Did I just say OUR home? Yes, no more landlord this time, no more rent payment but rather mortgage payment shall I say. We still felt we're over the moon knowing that we finally realized one of our goals and that's to have a house we can call as ours. I was hesitant to send my application for a mortgage at first after hearing some feedback from others telling me I had little to no chance of getting approved because of the fact... Read More

Paint It Own It

We are heading to almost half of November and in about six to five weeks Christmas is coming. I am deeply amazed on how fast the calendar flips everyday. Haven't even noticed it. Has anything changed in our lives from January up to the current date, be it a drastic difference or a little deviation from the normal life we have? There must be, right? If there's none, consider it alarming to waste the entire year of doing nothing. Dreams will never get realized when no effort is done to make it into a reality. The weather here is getting... Hey Poppet

"When are you going to work again Poppet?" one of my service users asked me when I was about to end my shift. I wonder why most of them call me this term but when I searched on what's the English meaning of this endearment, I was touched. I'm blessed to have met such sweet wonderful people in this lifetime at work. "I'll be back tomorrow to see you smile again," my genuine response of eagerness to work with the same bay the following night. How was the first graveyard shift? It wasn't as relaxed as I pictured it out... Read More

When I Answered Pardon?

The emotional roller coaster game didn’t end after passing the IELTS exam for I have to undergo several tests and more documents to comply. What’s next after the English test? Well, I have to submit myself for another anxiety provoking employer interview. How can I work in the United Kingdom if I don’t have any employer who will hire me, right? I was again too nervous with sweaty hands as cold as ice, knees trembling and my heart rate was beating faster than normal. Those were my normal physical responses when I am tensed. I am confident I can relate... Read More
