Thoughts About Blogging

Why I love blogging? I never knew blogging was my passion not until I started to launch my blog early this year. Blogging allows me to express myself more in writing especially those sentiments that I can't convey by way of talking to someone. It also makes me happy every time I can finish one article and share those things that may somehow touch someone's life. I am inspired when people would tell me that they continuously read every blog entry that I publish. This blog of mine is like a baby to me. I would want to nourish it by putting more... Read More

The Boomerang Effects of Helping

We were about to head home last night when Mon found an identification card left in one of those waiting benches for passengers. Our first reaction was of course to return it to its rightful owner but the question was how? The contact number listed on the back portion where the card can be reported as missing wasn't that readable. I still texted it merely by just guessing the numbers. We weren't sure if someone will respond to it or not. After a few minutes, an unknown number was calling me. I really hate answering unknown numbers thinking it maybe one of those sales calls... A Glimpse Of His Beautiful Past (Casiciaco Recoletos Seminary)

It was a dream come true for me and my husband to visit the place where my spouse spent 4 years of his college time. We planned and booked our airline ticket since last year to spend his birthday in the summer capital of the Philippines, "Baguio City". Aside from exploring the beauty of the scenery, one of our main agenda was to visit Casiciaco Recoletos Seminary. My better half is an ex-seminarian and he used to stay in the seminary for four years before he decided to quit. As they say, "Many are called for the priesthood vocation but... Read More

His Raw Reactions Made Me Feel Special

The hardest part of my typical day is to wake up early in the morning by the moment my alarm rings. I kept on pressing snooze and then snooze again, until I only got 15 minutes left to get myself ready for work. My body still wants to snuggle in between those soft pillows while enjoying the warmth of my blanket. For those who have an early shift for work, you can somehow relate to my sentiments about my struggles every morning. This morning I woke up following the same routine. I had to wake up early again. Phew! I was so pissed in going out of the bed making me released a... Read More

Dumaguete Mementos (Souvenir Shopping)

There are a lot of souvenir items that a traveler can find in Dumaguete for an affordable cost. We bought most of our souvenirs in Handuman Souvenir Shop, one of the local stores in the city.  You can check their Facebook Page to inquire more about their low-cost products. Their gift items were way cheaper compared to mall prices. Also, the quality of the merchandise from Handuman Souvenir Shop was undeniably good though it didn't cost that much compared to mall gift items. Let me share to you some of the gift shopping that we did in Dumaguete. This colorful... Read More

It’s A Girl Thing ( Monthly Mood Swings )

In the past few days, I experienced a roller coaster of emotions from experiencing crying spells to angry outburst and I felt like I was a walking bomb that I could explode my rage anytime. I was overly sensitive and even the simplest matter that happened last week irritated me. I couldn’t explain as to why I was feeling such anger-disabling emotions. I would say it was disabling and unhealthy sentiment, for it did not only affected me emotionally but physically too. I had a terrible headache and I could feel my pounding heartbeat while I was at the peak of my exasperation. It... Read More

A Special Day For My Little Sissy

I consider myself blessed for having a sister to whom I can count as my best friend and my loyal confidant since we were young. We’ve been through a lot and we courageously managed to overcome all those struggles in life. She is always there when I badly need a companion to comfort me during my weakest. When I am celebrating a victory for an event, she’s my number one fan and my cheerleader. We aren’t a perfect sibling, we fight and get annoyed with each other’s differences, but at the end of the day, we’ve learned how to compromise for... Read More

Family Tradition About Souvenirs

My husband joined their company outing in Bohol last Saturday. He asked permission from me a few days ago if he could join with his office mates with their out-of-town trip. I immediately said yes, without thinking. After I said yes, that’s when all the “what if’s” came to my senses. I am an anxious type of wife whenever my husband is away on a trip. I trust him completely with his loyalty to me. However, my worries includes his safety during the trip, his comfort as to where he is going to spend his night with, if his food... Read More
