This Brand New Year

Happy New Year everyone. A long overdue post for this brand new calendar again. Haven't sat down and contemplated for a new post because this Momma was busy savoring my tranquility doing nothing at home during off. Sometimes slowing down a bit, chilling out with a warm drink and not worrying of finishing any task to do is a much needed rest for us Mommas on the go, don't you think? This is our 2023 family photo and is of course already printed to be added to my photo album. Old school as this say in storing memorable pictures but... Read More

Akyn’s 7th Birthday

It's been a few days since I had shared another blog post for my Akynfullhouse website. The holiday season for me has been extremely busy, not just because of being a working mother but also due to my other extra activities or tasks I needed to prepare for December. My Akyn's seventh birthday was one of my top priorities of my to do list. I did ask Akyn on how he wanted to celebrate his birthday if he wanted us to do the normal family travel get away we do during special events or if he prefers to throw a... Read More

Christmas 2022

I hope everyone of you guys had a wonderful time during Christmas. For the three of us we spent a lovely Holidays together. Apart from getting busy with all the Christmas shopping for the gift giving activity, we offered most of our time doing singing practice with our friends from St. Charles preparing for the Christmas eve and Christmas Day mass. I was poorly last 2021 and unfortunately I missed those two important church activities. Gladly for 2022, I was finally able to experience joining my friends to witness a joyful evening mass. These were few of my wrapped gifts... Read More

Early Christmas Surprise From Akyn

Christmas is in the air both literally and figuratively with the minus two degrees temperature and the trees covered with ice, oh yes it is definitely the holiday season. Akyn gave us an early Christmas gift yesterday with his amazing act of bravery to overcome his fears every time he needs to perform in front of the crowd. I still get petrified with public speaking if I'll be ask to do one. How much more for a six year old boy? He showed me this little house with sweets and said that he was so happy with himself for getting... Read More

In Liverpool Day 2

As planned, here's the second part of our trip to Liverpool. Traveling doesn't only mean ticking the box of accomplished places we've visited but it's our own way of gaining our energy back from the stressful adulting life. So thankful to my friends' suggestions as to where to visit next here in the UK. Everyday is an opportunity to discover more about this county. I'm always excited to visit new places with my family especially if I know shopping is very much recommended to the nearby big shops of the area. LOL😁 I'll start my blog with my travel OOTD.... My Birthday in Liverpool Day 1

I was contemplating on how would I celebrate my birthday few weeks ago and Mon said to me, "Celebrate it the way you wanted!" Well, that would mean another family travel is going to happen because my top likes on the list on special event is really to travel and shop with my family. I love to spend our alone time together in going to places we've never been to. It's not like we don't want our friend's company to join with us but it's more of a moment to remember as a family getaway. If you don't get what... Read More

New Mobile Legends Playmate

I was in the other room when I heard Mon and Akyn talking like they were planning an attack to someone's base. When I checked them on what made them so busy and noisy😒,they were actually playing an online game called Mobile Legends. A satisfying view seeing Mon finally got his little playmate for his online gaming obsession. "Just follow my lead Akyn when I say you use your power then attack!" "Daddy an enemy has been slain!" I can't relate to the enjoynment of what they were both up to. I tried playing once with Akyn but I always... Read More

My First Shein Order

Gloomy foggy day it is. We are getting nearer to the coldest season of the year in each passing day. Not an exciting season for me because I don't like coldness. I'm not like Elsa or Ana of the Frozen. LOL😂The weather might be cold but I still hope our hearts would remain the warmth needed to console each other's gloominess at times. 😍 This is one of the reasons why I super love my blog and my FB blog page as it's my venue to share my cordial personality to inspire others. Not letting anyone else dull our sparkles... Read More

Guilt Free York Trip

Because it's half term, we made it sure to bring Akyn to a trip even for just a day. We've been thinking of going somewhere near and York won the list of places to visit. We had visited York several times but not to the York Designer Outlet. It was not only Akyn who was excited but this Momma has been very eager to step in the said store. I'm almost four years here in the UK but I didn't had the chance to come here. First time, ey? Let's start with the OOTD. An important part of every ladies'... Read More

Sewing DIY Projects

I can attest now that the kind of weather affects someone's mood. I thought before one's disposition depends ONLY with how our brain cells choose to view things everyday but no. If the weather is miserable out there, I tend to become more tired. All I want is to stay indoors and hone the introvert side of me. Duvet covers on, book in one side of the hand and the other hand is free to grab my cup of coffeee. Cozy but it makes me a little sad not able to see Mr. Sunshine. I grew up in a tropical... Hull Fair 2022

Too many things happened last week that made me pause for a week off blogging. Writing requires a serene mind to let once ideas flow freely. Without the calmness, my thoughts will just be all over the place, non coherent, jumbled non sense words. In short, a failed blog post is the product of a heart not set into the writing mode. But today, is a bit better to get my thoughts out. Let me share this long overdue post for our Hull Fair 2022. Better late than never pretty Mommas (making excuses LOL).😂 October is the start of colder... Read More

Fall Season Pumpkin Picking

I've finished this book, The Point of Retreat which is the second sequel of CoHo's book entitled Slammed. It was definitely another legend she has created to continue the love story of Will and Layken. I'm on the third book now called This Girl. I'm crossing my finger I'll also fall in love with her creation again. I got hooked with the first book where she introduced about an activity called poetry slam in the story where a group of young people gather together in a club to courageously recite their own made poems expressing their deepest emotions of something.... Combating Stress

Have you heard an old joke about Santa Claus asking a staff nurse specific Christmas wish? The nurse requested for a dragon and then Santa told her off to be realistic. So she asked instead for a fully staffed ward everytime she goes to work. Was her wish granted do you think? Santa eventually asked what color she would like for her dragon! This joke never grows old for me. I wonder when will it ever have enough people to share the workload in the hospital. If you're reading this, come on guys apply for a nursing job now. It's... My Fave Wax Melt Creations

I'm quite in a good mood for this morning after finishing to check out my Amazon cart for new cloth textiles and some additional bits for my sewing craft. It's an accomplishment for a beginner like me in the sewing craft to be able to learn how to operate the machine and get my first projects done. Update for my journey is the finished pillow cases I did. I didn't realize though that a meter of cloth can only make one piece and a half of a pillow case. I need at least two meters to create a pair of... Read More

Newest Obsession, My Happy Bubble

A calm Wednesday morning for me to start writing for my blog again. Hello pretty Mommas. Hope everyone is slaying their day like how a gorgeous momma should do. 😘 We were playing a card game this morning during breakfast by giving each other a card of prayer suited to whoever will get it. I gave Mon the card of work prayer as he is going to work from home today. For Akyn, he got the prayer of Wisdom before going to school and for me, Mon gave me the prayer for Forgiveness. I asked him, "To forgive who?" Then... Read More

Kitchen Renovation Deca Home

As early as nine in the morning, I received a phone call from a local number. I thought it was a genuinely important call since the area code showing didn't seem like a telemarketing calls with sales agent offering all sorts of products I'm not really interested. When I answered the phone, an automated message recording greeted me threatening me about tax evasion case filed againts me by the Home office. I've heard loads of cases of people falling to this kind of trick. Please be informed that Home office will never call to inform us of any tax discrepancy... Read More
