A month has passed before I managed to create another post for my Akynfullhouse. What made me busy this past few weeks? Still felt elated with my four weeks vacation in going to the Philippines, my home. Yay! It took me almost a year before finally having the chance to spend time with my family. I would say so much was going on today making it hard for me to absorb everything, really. First, I had to cancel my flight I've been excited to go since October of last year because of the 2019 Novel Corona virus. My lay over is in Hong Kong which would mean all flights either connecting or directly coming from Hong Kong passengers shall be placed under a quarantine in Cebu, my expected place of arrival. Couldn't believe I've spent the whole day in bed after my consecutive night shifts! I must be very exhausted I should say. Rest days would also mean a video call day for my Akyn. A routine common to mommas working as an overseas nurse. I've just had at least four hours of sleep after my two straight night shifts. I survived! Tomorrow I will be back to being a normal human being again reporting to work on a day schedule. Honestly, I would prefer to be on a graveyard shift when on duty because I could organize my task more with lesser interruptions, no doctor's order not unless in emergency cases, less people who'll keep on misplacing all your patients'documents. This month was welcomed with prolonged spell of wet weather. Ugrrh! I don't like it when I am about to go on duty because it makes me feel so lazy to get my beautiful behind out of bed. We are heading to almost half of November and in about six to five weeks Christmas is coming. I am deeply amazed on how fast the calendar flips everyday. Haven't even noticed it. Wondered how the 31st of October is celebrated here. Will there be fancy costumes of children knocking door to door asking for sweets? One of the best places to visit when you wanted to relieve stress is to pay round to see a theme park. It's suitable for both kids and to us who are still a child at heart. 😄 It's my first time to experience what the locals call as Hull Fair.
